AC Yule Scotland's leading supplier of glass and architectural aluminium, has a new addition to its portfolio of impressive project completions.
The contract to supply curtain walling to a converted office block in Newcastle, was awarded to AC Yule by the main contractor, Sir Robert McAlpine. Valued at GBP 187,000, the contract was completed to the requirements of the Leeds based architects, Carey Jones. The project is the first major completion for the company's Sunderland division which was founded a year ago.
AC Yule supplied and installed Kawneer 1200 curtain walling to create the striking blue glazed entrance tower, an impressive focal point of the building. The company also supplied 502 Pivot Windows and used the AC Yule Structural Glazing System. Bull nose caps were used for the curtain walling and Luxguard solar glass was utilised.
The completed building pays testament to AC Yule's superior architectural capabilities.
