AC Yule's Sunderland division, the company's newest division, has another impressive addition to add to its growing portfolio.
AC Yule won the contract to supply new frontages and automatic doors to the new B&Q superstore in Sunderland. Valued at GBP 77,000, the contract was awarded to the company by Balfour Beatty, main contractor for the project. The architects, Brown Smith Baker of Leeds, created a building with clean lines which will prove to be a timeless design.
AC Yule supplied and installed Kawneer 1200 curtain walling and 400/451 shopfronts to create the imposing faade of the building. Econ 40 windows were used throughout the rest of the building. The company also installed 9 sets of Automatic Sliding Doors.
AC Yule's head office is in Aberdeen with divisions in Livingston, Elgin and Sunderland.
