With it's first year of trading well behind it AC Yule's gateway into the English market has far surpassed all expectations. The Architectural Aluminium company recorded a turnover in excess of GBP 1M in the first year of trading. With the completion of several prestige projects in the area AC Yule Sunderland, based in the Pallion Industrial Estate, can only look forward to further growth in the area.
An initial staff of 9 was employed to cover administration, estimating and fabrication. As the company has grown the employment figure now stands at 20. Strong Support was given to AC Yule by Sunderland City Council's Economic Development Team who provided advice at every stage of the development and also assisting in finding a suitable location.
Most recently AC Yule, with it's head office in Aberdeen Scotland, has chosen the Sunderland site to house it's latest venture. From the Pallion site, AC Yule will supply and install their Reactor Range of Automatic Door Systems to the UK market ready for compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act.
Manager Ian Smith says:
