The Curtain Walling and Glazing of the landmark office development for Talisman Offshore in Aberdeen has been completed by AC Yule's Major Projects Team. One of the largest completions to date saw AC Yule supply and install Kawneer 1200 Curtain Walling and 501 Casement Windows to the eight storey building.
The building with it's curved roof design can clearly be seen on the Aberdeen sky line. Architects Jenkins & Marr were behind the unusual design which utilised silver reflective glass. Main contractor Robertson Construction Group awarded the GBP 700,000 contract to AC Yule late in 1999 with work commencing on site in April 2000. The project was completed early this year.
AC Yule have also recently completed the GBP 400,000 contract to replace all windows at the Shell Phase IV building in Aberdeen. This contract being awarded by Hall & Tawse.
The AC Yule Group have bases in Aberdeen, Falkirk, Sunderland, Livingston and Elgin and now have a turnover in excess of GBP 35 million.
