AC Yule's Major Projects Department have landed one of their largest contracts yet. The glazing and curtain walling contract for the refurbishment of the Former Tobacco Mills on Alexandra Parade, Glasgow will see AC Yule commence on site in May.
The GBP 900,000 contract awarded by Glasgow based Capital Construction involves Yule's working to specifications of Cooper Cromar Architects and installing Kawneer 504/501 windows and 1200 Curtain Walling. A complete new penthouse floor will be built on the top of the existing building. The windows will be silver satin anodised to reflect the period of the building.
Commenting on the award Owan Taylor, Director Architectural and Commercial Division said,
"Having just completed another large scale project at Holburn Street Aberdeen we are pleased to have been awarded this next prestige project. This clearly reflects our skills and experience in this area of large scale curtain walling and glazing work."
The AC Yule Group have bases in Aberdeen, Falkirk, Sunderland, Livingston and Elgin and now have a turnover in excess of GBP 35 million.
