Three notable contracts amounting to a combined GBP 1.5 million have been awarded to AC Yule and Son Ltd, one of Scotland's premier glass and architectural aluminium specialists.
The first new addition to AC Yule's extensive portfolio of commercial contracts was awarded by UCB films, to install various features in a new research and development building in. Materials being used for this project include, Kawneer 1200 curtain walling and AC Yule's Reactor sliding doors. The work is due for completion in December this year.
Morrison Construction awarded AC Yule a structural glazing contract for a new office block for the Highlands and Islands Enterprise in Inverness. Working alongside the architects, Colin Armstrong Associates, AC Yule will install Kawneer 1200 curtain walling and windows, series 501 and 503.
The third contract won by AC Yule was a contract for new windows, doors and curtain walling to be installed in St Thomas Aquins, a new school in Edinburgh. This project is due to start mid September using metal technology windows system 5 and 19 to complete the job.
