Hungary for Success

Software Investment at Glass Sites
Recognising the increasing importance of automated information systems to increase operator and production efficiencies within glass plants we then set about investigating the availability of an industry specific IT package back in November 2003.

Sunderland University Refurbishment
Our Boldon business unit have recently completed the refurbishment of the Edinburgh building at Sunderland University, which involved a strip and recover of the full external envelope of the building and was carried out by an external envelope partnership between AC Yule (North East England) and MDK Roofing and Cladding (Bishop Auckland).

Sunderland Wins Contract for the Newcastle Falcons Rugby Ground
Sunderland have won a contract for the Newcastle Falcons rugby ground to the north west side of Newcastle. This is a new build project for Metnor Construction consisting of curtain walling, windows, doors, revolving doors and firescreens. The project was a fast track programme leaving no room for error.

Environmental Standards 14001
We are currently in the process of developing the 14001 Environmental standards at Glass and Glazing in Aberdeen. So far we have used an environmental student to identify our energy and waste costs and develop policies to help us achieve the standards.

Dunstaffnage Marine Laboratory
In its 120th year the UK's oldest oceanographic organisation, The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS), a NERC Collaborative Centre, moved into a new GBP 12 Million laboratory complex constructed at the same scenic site as its previous 1960s institute at Dunstaffnage near Oban.
