AC Yule's latest business venture sees the formation of a new company, Fullex Architectural Aluminium Ltd. In the deal, signed just before Christmas, AC Yule take a controlling interest in the new company which will supply architectural aluminium to the shop front, secondary glazing, entrance door and ground floor treatment markets.
The new company will look to service the customer base previously handled by Birmingham based Fullex Ltds' Scottish operation located in Glasgow.
The day to day running the new company will be overseen by Eric Archer, a former director of Fullex Ltd. All staff based within the previous Fullex Ltd's Scotland operation will transfer to the new company Fullex Architectural Aluminium Ltd.
Commenting on the new company Managing Director of AC Yule Mr Bryan Yule said,
"This is a good opportunity for AC Yule to further increase it's share of the Architectural Aluminium Market in Scotland. In doing this we are catering for an area of the market we were previously not servicing"
Around the same time last year AC Yule acquired Tayside Windows of Forfar which increased it's share of the PVCu Window and Door market in Scotland.
