Several prestige contracts have been awarded to leading Architectural Aluminium company AC Yule during the last month.
The GBP 400,000 contract to replace windows and patent glazing at Shell Exploration and Production Phase IV premises, in Aberdeen, was awarded to AC Yule in June by Hall & Tawse. The company will be working to meet the requirements of Covell Matthew Architects and will begin this project at the end of August.
Last month also, Balfour Beatty awarded a GBP 410,000 Curtain Walling, Window and Roof Light contract to AC Yule for the new Strathclyde Police Training Centre, based in East Kilbride. Kawneer 1200 curtain walling and 501 windows will be the products used along with Lonsdale patent glazing bars. Not far from Glasgow, the company won a contract worth GBP 412,000 to carry out curtain walling work on the new visitor centre situated on the banks of Loch Lomond.
AC Yule have recently commenced work on site at the new Solus Hotel in Aberdeen. Working for Tulloch Contractors, AC Yule will complete the GBP 250,000 Window and Door installation. These recent contract awards give AC Yule a healthy order book heading into the second half of the millennium year.
