AC Yule finished 1999 on a high note after winning 2 large contracts totalling approximately GBP 850,000. AC Yule & Son Ltd, one of Scotland's leading aluminium architecture companies were awarded a succession of premier contracts last year, and aim to start this year with the same momentum by successfully completing these recent contract awards.
The first contract, valued at GBP 665,000 is for a new office development, located on Aberdeen's Holburn Street. The contract involves supplying and installing Kawneer 1200 curtain walling, 200 series doors including designer doors and 500 series casement windows. This project aims to commence on site in the beginning of April.
The second contract worth GBP 185,000 was awarded to AC Yule's Sunderland Division. This branch of AC Yule has won a number of worthy aluminium architecture contracts since its opening last year. The works are to be carried out on the Raich Carter Sports Centre in Sunderland. Curtain walling incorporating special panels with cedar cladding is to be supplied and installed in commemoration of the captain of the 1937 FA Cup squad. The company will also be supplying & fitting 500 series windows and 200 series doors into the new sports centre.
