Staff in Aberdeen decided to support the Grampian based community project, Give Kids a Chance by arranging a Christmas Raffle. Give Kids a Chance provides young people with positive worthwhile activities in a safe, controlled environment and helps to relieve boredom, raise self-esteem, confidence and personal skills.
Members of staff were asked to donate a gift such as box of chocolates, bottle of wine / beer, Christmas cake etc in order to create a Xmas Hamper, which will then be raffled amongst the staff.
However, the response that we received was amazing, with people giving very generous donations. In fact we received so many items that there was enough to split into 4 hampers. The raffle tickets are on sale for ?2.00 per ticket with the draw taking place on Thursday 18th
December 2003.
