A Charity Golf day took place on Saturday 18th June, Ian Dunn and Neil Graham from Boldon took part with a team including members from Main Contractors Bovis and Interserve. They didn't come first but did come in with a respectable 109 points which placed them in the top 10 out of 40 teams.
Approximately GBP2,900 was raised for charity SHAGS (Sixteen Helpful Amateur Golfers Society) which ex AC Yule employee Stephen Lumley is a member, Shags raises money for all local organisations, families with special needs children, helping local schools with special apparatus etc which is not covered by Government funding.
A good day was had by all and a Big Thank You from the charity to AC Yule for all their support this year.
