AC Yule England North division, have successfully completed the Quorum 5,6 and 16 project for main contractors, Grantside Developments. On official order AC Yule's design team were quickly mobilized in order to assist Grantside and Architect, Red Box Design with the overall envelope design for this fast track project. The next stage saw AC Yule complete a detailed onsite co-ordination programme which was continually updated and issued to all parties. Particular consideration was giving to the projects walkway and solar shading. Furthermore a large design input detailing the necessary bracketing to transfer the structural and wind loadings through the curtain walling to the main building was required and subsequently completed. The quorum projects featured approximately 6500m2 of aluminium curtain walling, doors, solar shading and automatic doors. AC Yule commenced the project in November 2004 and completed on programme with all three buildings consecutively constructed successfully due to our site management and co-ordination. AC Yule also supplied all internal glass requirements from our Aberdeen based glass processing plant.
