Tayside Windows Move Premises

1 February 2006

Tayside Windows based in Forfar, part of AC Yule Group have recently announced that they are to move premises from their existing site at Haugh Works, South Street to Orchardbank.

The move sees a back to back deal with Webster Property Developments Ltd with Tayside Windows leasing a refurbished factory of and office unit of 33000 sq.ft from Webster, and Webster purchasing the site at Haugh Works South Street from Tayside Windows.Commenting on the move General Manager at Tayside Windows, Brian Ross stated “we are looking forward to the move into our new premises, it will give us the opportunity to layout our production line in a more efficient manner. Whilst the existing premises have been useful over the years for Tayside Windows they are not ideally suited to modern production techniques“

A Spokesperson for “Webster’s“ added that the deal with “Tayside Windows“ was of major benefit to the parties involved and also Forfar. “Webster’s“ are happy to secure a lease agreement with “Tayside Windows“ for a substantial part of their Orchardbank property and the deal has released the Haugh Works for development into much needed housing both for the private housing sector and also for rent. It also adds to the Company’s work load..

Tayside Windows presently employ 73 people within Forfar and produce PVC windows and doors for Commercial, Local Authority, New Build and Housing Association market.
