Introduction

AC Yule have teamed up with ScreenLine to supply sealed units with interstitial blinds. ScreenLine is a revolutionary system that allows blinds to be placed inside a sealed unit, and activated externally with no intrusion of the seal.

ScreenLine can be fitted in new buildings or fitted into existing frames - in any commercial application. There is a special ScreeLine system that has been specifically developed for the domestic sector - please ask for details.

Benefits

ScreenLine provides many enhancing features. As an integrated component of the sealed unit, the blind requires no cleaning and is protected from damage. This vastly reduces the cleaning and maintenance costs associated with other blinds. Cleaning of the glass is also faster and easier without the blind to hinder you.

Screenline also provides greatly enhanced sunshading features. SreenLine can greatly enhance the u-value of a sealed unit. In addition, the method of metallisation of the fabric slats can further enhance these solar control properties, reducing heat loss in winter by up to 30%. Vertical sideguards prevent light entrance between the edge of the fabric and the window frame and ensure the blind does not get snagged or jammed.

ScreenLine blinds can be fitted to any window accommodating a unit with an 18mm and upwards cavity.

Operation

The exclusive magnetic design, which is patented worldwide, activates the blind system. A pair of magnets, one internal one external, control the movemnet of the blind. A cord-loop turns the external magnet and the blind is raised, lowered or tilted. Operation is also available by external motor or by an internal electric motor contained within the railhead.
